Step1: Prepare your device
Install a ‘driver/library’ called ‘Grafcet-Engine’ in the PLC. In case of Siemens PLCs the Grafcet-Engine is a set of blocks. This blocks must exist in the PLC. Then the S7-PLC is prepared for Grafcet-Studio. After this, the Siemens programming tool is not needed any more. Important: We don’t modify the installation of your programming tool (e.g. TIA PORTAL). Our Grafcet-Engine is only added in your project.
Step2: Setup the I/O configuration
In the window ‘Grafcet-Engine’ setup the correct I/O and communication settings for the PLC. E.g. the IP address of the PLC and I/O addresses.
